Responsible & Regional Deployment of Carbon Removal:
A Pacific Northwest Symposium | Seattle, WA | April 18
Carbon removal is projected to grow into a trillion dollar market that delivers significant community and environmental benefits. As carbon removal scales, the Pacific Northwest region is poised to become a major hub of activity due to its vibrant climate tech ecosystem and natural attributes. The Carbon Business Council, RMI, Building Tribal Leadership in Carbon Removal, Institute for Carbon Removal Law and Policy, Indigenous Greenhouse Gas Removal Commission, Clean and Prosperous Institute, and Carbon Development Council invite you to participate in a Seattle Symposium on April 18th to discuss regional deployment opportunities in the Pacific Northwest.
Through a series of interactive breakout sessions and panel discussions, the day-long symposium will include leading carbon removal practitioners in the Pacific Northwest to deep dive into several topics like: what are the carbon removal opportunities in the Pacific Northwest and who are the regional innovators working towards responsible carbon removal deployment? What are the policy trends and developments that are attracting carbon removal deployment in the region? How can carbon removal earn the social license to operate in the Pacific Northwest and what steps should be taken to address community questions and concerns? What is needed to accelerate the regional market?
The symposium is made possible with the generous support of ClimateWorks Foundation. Space is limited: please join the waitlist to be the first to know when registration opens. Symposium co-hosts, featured speakers, and featured agenda items are summarized below.
